WTTU Basic Martial Arts Program
Martial Arts training can change your life in many ways. Our basic program will help you to start:
Improving your self-confidence by testing and challenging yourself in each class.
Increasing your mental focus and concentration in a positive, enthusiastic environment.
Improving your fitness level including improved cardio capacity, weight loss, muscle gain and a focus on healthy lifestyles thus encouraging positive self-image.
Improving your social skills including communication skills, stress and anger management, as well as rapport-building with adults and children by training in a positive peer environment.
Feeling ready to defend yourself and your family against attack by learning and practicing effective self-defence techniques.
Incorporating positive life-skills such as respect, courtesy, self-control, honour and discipline into your daily life. These life-skills are encouraged and reinforced in every class.
Learning effective goal-setting techniques. As all our programs are goal-based, students are taught to set S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Motivating, Achievable, Relevant, Trackable) goals in their relationships, education or career, and their taekwondo training.
